EU, Tanzania deepen Vision 2050 trade ties
Dar es Salaam, Aug. 31 -- THE European Union (EU) and Tanzania have agreed to deepen trade and investment cooperation to spur economic growth and fasttrack implementation of the National Development Vision 2050.
The agreement was reached after high-level talks that brought together representatives of EU member states, the EU Delegation, European business groups and key government institutions responsible for facilitating trade and investment.
Among the participating institutions were the Immigration Department, the Tanzania Revenue Authority (TRA) and the Tanzania Investment and Special Economic Zones Authority (TISEZA), reflecting the broad institutional effort to improve the business environment.
