DODOMA, Oct. 21 -- THE Deputy Minister for Energy Salome Makamba has presented the Ministry of Energys budget implementation report for the first quarter of the 2026/27 financial year, covering the electricity and renewable energy subsectors, to the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Energy and Minerals, chaired by Subira Mgalu.

The meeting was held today at the parliamentary premises in Dodoma, where the Ministry presented progress on budget implementation across various areas of the energy sector, including research, production and utilisation of electricity generated from renewable and alternative energy sources available in the country.
