eGA powers agriculture digital shift
DODOMA, Aug. 3 -- THE Electronic Government Authority (eGA) says digital transformation is reshaping Tanzanias agriculture sector, with more than 6,000 cooperative societies now operating through an online management platform that is improving transparency, strengthening service delivery and enhancing oversight across the agricultural value chain.
The authority said the growing adoption of digital systems is providing government with reliable data for planning, improving accountability in agricultural marketing and enabling farmers to access faster and more efficient services.
