DAR ES SALAAM, Aug. 28 -- PRESIDENT Samia Suluhu Hassan, has met with the Egyptian Ambassador to Tanzania, Sherif Ismail, who paid a farewell visit to State House in Dar es Salaam at the end of his four-year diplomatic assignment in the country.

During the meeting, President Samia thanked Ambassador Ismail for his contribution to strengthening the longstanding and friendly relations between Tanzania and Egypt during his tenure.

President Samia said Tanzania and Egypt have continued to expand cooperation across several sectors, including trade and investment, education, health, agriculture, energy, tourism, transport and logistics.
