ZANZIBAR, July 28 -- PRESIDENT Samia Suluhu Hassan has today, July 27, 2026 sworn in several public officials during a ceremony held at the State House in Tunguu, Zanzibar.

Among those sworn in was Dr Latifa Mohammed Khamis, who took the oath of office as Deputy Permanent Secretary in the Vice Presidents Office responsible for Union Affairs.

Prisca Burton Lwangili was also sworn in as Deputy Permanent Secretary in the Presidents Office - Public Service Management and Good Governance.
