ZANZIBAR, July 29 -- PRESIDENT Samia Suluhu Hassan has today, July 28, 2026, received a special message and greetings from President Xi Jinping of the Peoples Republic of China, delivered by Chinas Ambassador to Tanzania, Chen Mingjian, at the State House in Tunguu, Zanzibar.

Following the presentation of the message, President Samia held talks with Ambassador Chen on a range of issues concerning the strategic partnership and bilateral cooperation between Tanzania and China.
