DODOMA, Oct. 30 -- PRESIDENT Samia Suluhu Hassan has officially inaugurated government ministry and institutional buildings, asphalt roads and key infrastructure at the Government City in Mtumba, Dodoma, marking a major milestone in Tanzanias efforts to consolidate government operations in the countrys capital.

Speaking during the inauguration ceremony in Mtumba, President Samia said the development of the Government City was part of the countrys long-term vision of establishing Dodoma as the administrative centre of Tanzania and bringing government services closer to citizens.
