Dr Samia insists on peace, reconciliation and political tolerance for socio-economic progress
ZANZIBAR, July 9 -- PRESIDENT Samia Suluhu Hassan has called on Tanzanians to embrace peace, reconciliation and political tolerance, saying citizens are not looking for chaos and endless political disputes but a stable environment that allows them to pursue economic and social progress.
Speaking in Zanzibar during the signing of a joint declaration between Chama Cha Mapinduzi (CCM) and ACT Wazalendo, President Samia said reconciliation was not a sign of weakness, but a demonstration of political maturity and commitment to placing national interests above party and individual interests
