DAR ES SALAAM, Aug. 25 -- PRESIDENT Samia Suluhu Hassan has extended her best wishes and blessings to Muslims and all Tanzanians as they mark the Maulid holiday, urging them to uphold love, compassion, tolerance and care for others.

In her message, President Samia said the commemoration of the birth of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) should serve as a reminder of the importance of living by the principles of love, peace and solidarity. She also urged Tanzanians to celebrate the occasion peacefully and joyfully while maintaining national unity and solidarity.
