ZANZIBAR, Aug. 12 -- PRESIDENT Samia Suluhu Hassan has awarded the Public Service Social Security Fund (PSSSF) for its contribution to a clean cooking energy dialogue held in South Unguja, Zanzibar.

The award was presented to PSSSF Zanzibar Manager Mariam Saleh on behalf of the Fund during an event held on the night of August 12, 2026, recognising institutions and stakeholders that supported the dialogue on clean cooking energy.

The dialogue was held alongside the 10th Kizimkazi Festival 2026, which officially began today with a procession and was launched by President of Zanzibar and Chairman of the Revolutionary Council, Dr Hussein Ali Mwinyi.
