QATAR, Oct. 9 -- ZANZIBAR President, Dr Hussein Ali Mwinyi, has visited DOC Medical Center in Qatar, a healthcare facility that provides services through eight specialised medical departments under its founder and Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Emmanuel Tolessa.

During the visit today, October 9, President Mwinyi expressed interest in the services offered by the centre as part of efforts to strengthen cooperation between Tanzania and DOC Medical Center in the healthcare sector.

The proposed partnership aims to establish a hospital in Tanzania through collaboration involving the Ministry of Health of the United Republic of Tanzania and the National Social Security Fund (NSSF) and the Public Service Social Security Fund (PSSSF).
