TOLEDO, SPAIN, June 12 -- THE Minister for Natural Resources and Tourism, Dr Ashatu Kijaji has lauded the UN Tourism leadership and strategic direction and reaffirmed Tanzania commitment to deepening cooperation with the UN Tourism, pledging continued collaboration to strengthen global tourism development and sustainability.

Speaking at the 126th session of the UN Tourism Executive Council, Minister Kijaji commended the organisation for effectively coordinating global tourism affairs, saying its 2026–2029 governance vision demonstrates clear leadership and a strong roadmap for advancing the sector worldwide.
