DAR ES SALAAM, Aug. 24 -- THE Minister for Livestock and Fisheries, Ambassador Dr Bashiru Ally Kakurwa, has launched the Fourth Researchers Conference, bringing together researchers from 17 countries to discuss the development of the fisheries and aquaculture sectors for sustainable development.

The conference was held today, August 24, 2026, at the Julius Nyerere International Convention Centre (JNICC) in Dar es Salaam, with participants discussing ways to advance the fisheries and aquaculture sectors while sharing scientific knowledge and experience aimed at increasing productivity and promoting sustainable development.
