TUNDUMA, Oct. 16 -- THE Dar es Salaam Institute of Technology (DIT), Songwe Campus, has successfully implemented a research project aimed at identifying and promoting the use of locally available natural materials in construction.

Funded by the European Unions ERASMUS programme to the tune of Euro 87,681.15, the project seeks to strengthen researchers capacity and assess the quality of natural materials, including soil, to ensure their appropriate use in the construction sector.
