Digital push targets fast public services
ZANZIBAR, May 23 -- DIGITAL systems are being expanded across public institutions in efforts to improve efficiency, reduce delays and strengthen transparency in service delivery.
Acting Minister for State, Presidents Office – Constitution, Legal Affairs, Public Service and Good Governance Suleiman Masoud Makame told the House of Representatives in Chukwani, Unguja that the reforms are aimed at simplifying access to government services while reducing rooms for corruption.
He was responding to concerns raised by Representative Abdulwahab Said Abubakar (Chakechake, CCM) over delays in public services that inconvenience people and create rooms for corruption.
