ARUSHA, Oct. 10 -- ARUMERU District Commissioner Neema Lugangira has pledged to strengthen security, resolve land disputes and improve social services as part of efforts to accelerate development in the district.

She made the commitment on Friday (October 9,2026) after officially taking over the Arumeru District Commissioners Office, outlining her priorities, including improving environmental cleanliness, strengthening supervision of development projects and ensuring discipline in the use of public funds.

Ms Lugangira said resolving land conflicts and maintaining peace were essential to creating an environment that supports economic growth and development.
