DAR ES SALAAM, Aug. 20 -- A total of 200m/- is expected to be raised during the 2026 Rotary Goat Races to support education initiatives, including scholarships for underprivileged students, improvement of learning environments and Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) facilities.

President of the Rotary Club of Dar es Salaam Oyster Bay, Paul Muhato, said the event, themed “Safari Adventure,” will be held on Saturday, 19 September 2026, from 12:00 noon to 10:00 PM at the Kijitonyama Postal Grounds in Dar es Salaam.

The organisers are targeting 5,000 attendees, up from approximately 3,200 people who attended the event in 2025.
