ZANZIBAR, Aug. 15 -- PRESIDENT Samia Suluhu Hassan has invited investors from across the world to explore Tanzanias investment opportunities, citing its tourism potential and conducive business environment as key attractions.

She said the government was also implementing policy reforms and other measures to create a competitive investment climate and attract more businesses.

President Samia made the call yesterday while closing the 2026 Kizimkazi Festival, where she also urged Tanzanians, particularly the youth, to safeguard peace and preserve the Union between Mainland Tanzania and Zanzibar.

She said peace, security and stability were essential for investment, tourism, business, employment and delivery of social services to thrive.
