MTWARA, May 1 -- THE Mtwara Port has continued to receive delegations of businesspeople from the Comoros Islands with the aim of formally introducing them to the Tanzania Ports Authority (TPA) and strengthening cooperation in handling cement vessels expected to arrive at the port.

The delegation from the Comoros Islands was led by the Ambassador of Comoros to Tanzania, Ahamada El Badaoui Mohamed.

Following the visit, the business delegation said the Government of Comoros is currently implementing various development projects, including the construction of sports facilities and hospitals, which is driving a significant increase in cement demand in the country.
