DAR ES SALAAM, April 17 -- THE Commonwealth has reaffirmed its support for Tanzanias efforts to foster a stable, inclusive and credible political environment through dialogue and institutional reforms.

“The Commonwealth supports ongoing efforts in the country and stands ready to assist in fostering a stable, inclusive and credible political environment through dialogue and institutional reforms,” Commonwealth Secretary General Ms Shirley Ayorkor Botchwey said.

Her message was delivered by Special Envoy and former President of Malawi, Dr Lazarus Chakwera, during a meeting with President Samia Suluhu Hassan at the State House in Dar es Salaam on Wednesday.
