DODOMA, Sept. 4 -- The Parliamentary Standing Committee on Governance, Constitution and Law has commended Attorney General Hamza Johari and Chief Parliamentary Draftsman (CPD) Onorius Njole for promptly preparing the Written Laws (Miscellaneous Amendments) (No. 2) Bill, 2026, after identifying various challenges and shortcomings in the implementation of existing laws.

Presenting the committees views in the National Assembly in Dodoma on Wednesday, committee member Dr Oscar Kikoyo also commended officials under the Office of the Attorney General, as well as officials from various institutions responsible for administering and implementing the laws proposed for amendment, for their cooperation and support throughout the committees work.
