DODOMA, July 17 -- A CHINESE investor has unveiled plans to establish a major logistics and distribution hub in Dodoma. The investor cited the citys strategic location, the newly completed Inland Dry Port and the upcoming Msalato International Airport as key factors positioning the region as a gateway for trade and investment.

The proposed investment was presented on Monday during talks between Dodoma Regional Commissioner Rosemary Senyamule and Chinese businessman, Chen, the owner of Eastern Alliance International Limited, a company engaged in the manufacture, import, export and distribution of Chinese products to international markets.
