DODOMA, July 18 -- The Centre for Artificial Intelligence and Multidisciplinary Solutions in Africa (CAIMSA) has announced its vision to establish a state-of-the-art Artificial Intelligence Data Centre.

This critical centre has been envisioned to address one of the continents most pressing barriers to AI development: limited access to high-performance computing infrastructure.

The proposed AI Data Centre will provide advanced Graphics Processed Units (GPU) computing resources, high-speed Internet connectivity, reliable power infrastructure and secure data storage.
