DODOMA, June 15 -- TANZANIAS Parliamentary Budget Committee has said it has identified concerns regarding the governments expenditure-cutting measures outlined in the 2026/27 national budget, noting that many of the proposals are similar to those presented in previous years and that some have not been fully implemented.

Speaking in Parliament in Dodoma today, June 15, 2026, Committee Chairperson Mashimba Ndaki said the committees analysis of the budget had revealed implementation challenges affecting several of the proposed measures.
