DAR ES SALAAM, June 12 -- THE Bank of Tanzania (BoT) has intensified its commitment to environmental conservation by conducting a large-scale beach clean-up exercise at Dengua Beach in Dar es Salaam as part of activities marking the banks 60th anniversary.

Speaking to journalists during the event, BOT Deputy Governor for Administration and Internal Controls (AIC), Dr. Rahma Salim Mahfoudh, said the initiative was aimed at promoting environmental cleanliness and strengthening community participation in conservation efforts.

“As part of our 60th anniversary celebrations, we have chosen to give back to society through environmental conservation activities. Clean surroundings are essential for public health and sustainable development...
