DAR ES SALAAM, May 1 -- AFTER major renovations were carried out in other areas of the Benjamin Mkapa Stadium in Dar es Salaam, another major task to upgrade the playing field has finally begun in order to meet the standards required by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) for next years AFCON finals, which are being co-hosted by Tanzania, Kenya and Uganda through their joint collaboration (Pamoja Bid).

Currently, other areas of the Mkapa Stadium have become more attractive. Major renovations have been done, including the installation of new seats and the upgrading of changing rooms.
