DAR ES SALAAM, April 17 -- THE National Arts Council of Tanzania (BASATA) has announced emerging artist Tunu Halisi as the winner of the BASATA Rising Star Awards, assigning him the responsibility of composing a special song for the AFCON 2027 tournament.

Speaking to Daily News, Acting Executive Secretary of BASATA, Edward Buganga, said that among the three songs to be recorded by artists selected through the program, one will specifically focus on the AFCON 2027 competition.
