DAR ES SALAM, July 3 -- BARRICK Mining Corporation has won the Presidential Taxpayers Award as the top taxpayer for 2024/25 financial year.

Operating in partnership with the government-owned Twiga Minerals Corporation, Barrick has continued to maintain its status as Tanzanias top taxpayers from the mining sector.

The Presidential Top Taxpayers Awards gala was part of events to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Tanzania Revenue Authority (TRA) held at Mlimani City in Dar es Salaam in the presence of President Samia Suluhu Hassan as its chief guest.

During the occasion, President Samia commended all institutions that have been faithfully paying their taxes through the authority.
