DAR ES SALAAM, Aug. 14 -- THE Rotary Club of Bahari Dar es Salaam will host its 16th Annual Charity Golf Tournament on Saturday at the Gymkhana Club (DGC) course.

The 18-hole tournament brings together golfers, corporate leaders, Rotarians and friends of Rotary for a day of sport, fellowship and community service.

Rotary Club of Bahari president Irene Bizere said the 16th edition marked an important milestone, noting that the tournament had grown beyond golf into a platform for friendship, corporate partnership and service. The club has implemented projects in health, education, environmental conservation, water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH), and community development.
