DAR ES SALAAM, Sept. 10 -- AZAM TV has launched a new sports channel, Azam Sports 5 HD, to provide more opportunities for fans to follow football, cricket and basketball competitions played simultaneously.

The launch took place as the company began its “Tisa Kumi, Moto Juu ya Moto” campaign, with the expansion attributed to growing demand for sports content and the increasing number of competitions taking place at the same time.

Speaking at the launch, Azam TV Manager for Advertising, Events and Media, Sebastian Mwaikambe, said the new channel would help ensure fans do not miss sporting events because of overlapping schedules.
