DAR ES SALAAM, March 6 -- Tanzanias national carrier, Air Tanzania Corporation Limited(ATCL), has announced plans to repatriate passengers affected by the suspension of flights to the Middle East following escalating hostilities involving United States, Israel, and Iran.

In a statement issued today, March 6, 2026, the airline said a special evacuation flight will depart from Dar es Salaam to Dubai, before returning to Dar es Salaam on Sunday to bring back affected passengers.

Earlier, on February 28, 2026, Air Tanzania announced the suspension of its Middle East routes after airspace closures in the region disrupted normal operations.
