ARUSHA, March 25 -- THE Arusha Regional Commissioner, Amos Makala, has said that continued hosting of meetings and conferences in the region has generated significant economic and social opportunities for local residents.
Speaking today, March 25, 2026, at the Pan African Postal Union (PAPU) hall during the 110th National Public Education Stakeholders Conference, the RC thanked public and private institutions for choosing Arusha as the host city for multiple conferences and conventions.
Mr Makalla further said that the recent visits of the Prime Minister, Mwigulu Nchemba has brought tangible benefits to the region.
