DAR ES SALAAM, Sept. 21 -- ALAF Limited over the weekend launched the eighth edition of its internal football league as part of the companys health and wellness program.

The launch event was held at Coco Beach and was coloured by 5km jogging that attracted the ALAF jogging club members and other stakeholders.

The league, which has gained popularity by the years, will feature ALAF employees teams named after their product brands;Simba Dumu, Simba Chuma, Maxcover, Safcool and Safthem.

Speaking at the event, the ALAF Head of Finance, Lincoln Duplessis said apart from promoting sporting activities, the league is part of the companys health and wellness program to ensure the employees are more productive and active.
