DAR ES SALAAM, Oct. 16 -- AIRTEL Tanzania has paid the government 65.48bn/- in dividends this year, bringing its cumulative payments to about 350bn/- since 2019, as the company opened a flagship shop at its head office in Dar es Salaam on Friday.

Dar es Salaam Regional Commissioner Albert Chalamila inaugurated the modern facility, which brings internet connectivity, Airtel Money, home and business fibre, enterprise solutions, SIM registration and customer support services under one roof.

Seaking at the inauguration, the RC commended Airtels investment in 4G and 5G connectivity but urged the company to improve network speed, reliability, and customer service to meet growing demand in the city.
