ARUSHA, April 13 -- THE Aga Khan Health Services, Tanzania (AKHST), under the Aga Khan Development Network (AKDN), has donated chemotherapy equipment worth 55m/- to support cancer treatment services at Mount Meru Regional Referral Hospital in Arusha.

The donation, provided through the East Africa Comprehensive Women Cancer Project (EA-CwCP), included patient recliners, infusion pumps and bio-safety equipment aimed at improving chemotherapy service delivery and ensuring the safety of both patients and healthcare workers.

Speaking in Arusha yesterday, Arusha District Administrative Secretary, Mr Jacob Rombo, expressed gratitude to AKHST for its continued support in strengthening cancer care services.
