DAR ES SALAAM, Aug. 5 -- AFRICAN nations, investors and the private sector have been challenged to move beyond ambitious infrastructure plans and focus on delivering bankable projects capable of driving the continents economic transformation.

Addressing delegates at the opening of the Africa50 General Shareholders Meeting and the Infra for Africa Forum in Dar es Salaam on Wednesday, Tanzanias Minister for Finance, Ambassador Khamis Mussa Omar made the call noting that Africas infrastructure deficit should be viewed as an opportunity to unlock innovative financing and deepen strategic partnerships.
