ZANZIBAR, July 9 -- ACT- Wazalendo Chairman Othman Masoud Othman has pledged that his party will ensure the ongoing reconciliation process serves the wider interests of Zanzibar, insisting that the initiative is not designed to benefit political parties or individuals.

He said the agreements reached between Chama Cha Mapinduzi (CCM) and ACT- Wazalendo are aimed at building a stronger Zanzibar anchored on good governance, accountability, political stability and sustainable development.
