DAR ES SALAAM, Aug. 12 -- OVER 2,000 participants and representatives from 50 international firms are expected to attend the seventh Tanzania Mining and Investment Conference (TMIC 2026), as the government steps up efforts to attract new investment and promote value addition in the mining sector.

The conference is scheduled for November 19-21, 2026, at the Julius Nyerere International Convention Centre (JNICC) in Dar es Salaam.

Information from the Ministry of Mining on Wednesday stated that the TMIC 2026 is expected to bring together government leaders, international investors, mining companies, financial institutions, technology experts, researchers and other players across the mineral value chain.
