Sri Lanka, Aug. 21 -- The Colombo High Court yesterday served indictments on former President Mahinda Rajapaksa's son Yoshitha Rajapaksa and former Navy Commander Admiral of the Fleet Wasantha Karannagoda over a case filed allegedly corruption related charges.

Following serving the indictment, each accused was ordered to release on two sureties worth Rs.1 mn each by the Colombo High Court.

The case was taken up before Colombo High Court Judge Ravindra Premaratne. The Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption (CIABOC) had filed an indictment before the Colombo High Court against former President Mahinda Rajapaksa's son Yoshitha Rajapaksa and former Navy Commander Admiral of the Fleet Wasantha Karannagoda on corruptio...
