Sri Lanka, June 25 -- Fort Magistrate Pasan Amarasena yesterday (24) ordered Krishantha Pradeep Silva Wijesekara, the coordinating secretary to former Minister Wimal Weerawansa, to be remanded until July 3 over the alleged misuse of vehicles belonging to the State Engineering Corporation in 2015.

A panel of lawyers led by President's Counsel Kalinga Indatissa made a bail application on behalf of the suspect, and the court postponed the order regarding the request to a future date.
