Sri Lanka, April 9 -- The Meteorology Department has warned of an increase in warm weather conditions in several areas across the Western, Sabaragamuwa, Southern, Eastern, North-Western, Northern, and North-Central Provinces, as well as in the Moneragala District.

According to the advisory, the department stated that the temperature felt by the human body is likely to rise to the 'Caution level'.

The Department advised the public to remain adequately hydrated, take frequent breaks in shaded areas, limit strenuous outdoor activities and wear light weight, white or light-coloured clothing to minimise the effects of the prevailing heat conditions.
