Vocational education must be recognised as an equal pathway in education - PM
Sri Lanka, Aug. 14 -- Prime Minister Dr. Harini Amarasuriya emphasised that vocational and technical education must be recognised as an equally valuable and respected pathway within Sri Lanka's national education system, as the Government marked the completion of the GIZ Vocational Training in Sri Lanka (VTSL) Phase II Project in Colombo on Wednesday (12).
The project was implemented by GIZ with the support of the German Government through BMZ, in partnership with the Swiss Agency for Development and Co-operation (SDC), to strengthen Sri Lanka's Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) sector.
