Sri Lanka, April 17 -- Chief Incumbent of the Angoda Mandawila Sri Abhayasumanarama Viharaya, Venerable Komarike Subodhananda Thera, passed away at the age of 50 on April 14 while receiving treatment at the National Institute of Infectious Diseases.South Asians & Diaspora

The venerable monk was widely recognised for his pioneering social and religious work in the Angoda area and the wider Colombo district over several decades. He was dedicated to the betterment of all communities, regardless of race or religion.
