Sri Lanka, July 29 -- The Presidium of the Tamil Progressive Alliance (TPA), at its meeting held recently, resolved to nominate V. Radhakrishnan, MP, Deputy Leader of the TPA and President of the Up-Country People's Front, as the Alliance's representative to the Political Council of the Tamil-Speaking People (PCTSP).

The TPA has also appointed Bharath Arulsamy, a member of the TPA Politburo, to serve on the Council and to assist MP V. Radhakrishnan in the discharge of his responsibilities. Since the inception of the PCTSP, TPA Leader Mano Ganesan has represented the Alliance at its deliberations.
