Sri Lanka, June 16 -- Users of the Electronic Toll Collection (ETC) facility on the Colombo - Katunayake Expressway will receive a 10 percent discount off the standard fee for every journey.

The Transport and Highways Ministry has taken steps to further streamline the process of paying expressway tolls on the Colombo - Katunayake Expressway using cash, cards, or the ETC system.

Accordingly, awareness programmes regarding these facilities were conducted yesterday (15).

While facilities have been provided to pay tolls on the Colombo - Katunayake Expressway via cash, cards, or ETC, dedicated entry and exit points have been set up specifically for ETC users. This ensures that they can enter and exit without any delays.
