Sri Lanka, June 24 -- Damel Evelyn (77n.o) and Kevlon Anderson (58) made superb knocks to add 110 runs fourth wicket stand as West Indies Emerging team record 2 wickets win with 5 overs to spare in their first ODI against Sri Lankan Emerging team at SSC grounds yesterday. This game was initially scheduled for Monday but it was called off due to rain.

However yesterday's game was reduced to 36 overs per side and started at 12.30 pm . Sri Lanka Emerging team invited to bat first scored 184 all out in 33.4 overs. West Indies Emerging team chasing a target of 185 reached it in 31overs with 2 wickets in hand. Daniel and Kevlon were leading the way with match winning partnership to take 1-0 lead in the three-match series.
