Sri Lanka, Feb. 24 -- Two buses collided head-on in the Malegama area on the Wadduwa-Moranthuduwa road today, according to the Wadduwa Police. Fortunately, both vehicles were traveling without passengers at the time of the incident.

Both drivers sustained injuries and were rushed to the Panadura Base Hospital by local residents and officials.

Hospital sources indicate that one driver remains in critical condition.

The Wadduwa Police have launched a full investigation to determine the cause of the collision.
