Sri Lanka, July 29 -- Two suspects, including the alleged mastermind behind a financial fraud at an Indian-owned manufacturing plant in Peliyagoda, have been arrested.

The fraud took place at a company called Flexo Polymer block manufacturing facility operated by an Indian investment company based in the Peliyagoda area of Colombo.

Police said the case came to light after an investigation by the Financial Crime Investigation Division.

Following the Unit's findings, Peliyagoda DIG Kalinga Jayasekara instructed police teams to intensify investigations into the matter.
