Sri Lanka, Sept. 11 -- The Department of Management Audit of the Ministry of Finance has launched a special awareness programme aimed at strengthening public financial management and enhancing transparency across the public sector.

The programme, initiated on the direction of the President, focuses on improving the capacity and effectiveness of internal audit units and strengthening financial controls within government institutions.
