Sri Lanka, March 31 -- Police Spokesperson ASP F.U. Wootler said that 30 hardcore criminals have been brought back to Sri Lanka in the last three years under the programme to bring suspects involved in crimes who are hiding in foreign countries.Sri Lanka Exports

Addressing a press conference held in Colombo yesterday (30), the Police Spokesman said that due to existing international diplomatic relations, it was possible to bring suspects to the country without red notices, and that 13 suspects were brought back to the country in this way. The two suspects brought to the country from India on March 28 were also brought down without red notices.

He further stated that red notices have been issued for 88 organised criminals.
